Enabling and disabling notifications
Notification preferences are managed at the device level through your phone’s settings. On Android:- Open your device Settings.
- Tap Apps and find Westpoint in the list.
- Tap Notifications and toggle notification categories on or off.
- Open your device Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Westpoint.
- Tap Notifications and adjust the settings to your preference.
Changes to notification settings take effect immediately. Turning off a category means you will not receive any alerts for that type, even for active orders.
Push notification permissions
The first time you open Westpoint, the app asks permission to send you push notifications. Tap Allow to receive order and delivery updates. If you previously denied permission and want to enable it:- Open your device Settings.
- Find Westpoint in the app list.
- Enable Notifications.
In-app notification center
Even without push notifications enabled, you can view your notification history inside the app. To open the notification center:- Tap Account in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Messages (the chat icon) to view vendor messages, or look for the notification bell icon at the top of the home screen for system alerts.
- Mark as read — tap a notification to mark it as read, or use Mark all as read to clear the unread badge at once.
- Clear all — remove all notifications from the list.
