You can be browsing products and placing your first order on Westpoint in just a few minutes. This guide walks you through downloading the app, creating an account, and completing your first purchase.

Download the Westpoint app

Search for Afrizon in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and install the app.Once the app opens, you’ll see the onboarding screen. If it’s your first time, a language selector appears automatically so you can choose English, Swahili, or French before continuing.
You can browse featured products, stores, and categories without signing in by tapping Skip for now. You’ll need an account to add items to your cart or place an order.

Sign up for an account

Tap I’m new, sign me up on the welcome screen. Afrizon offers two ways to register:
  1. Select your country from the dropdown. The default is Tanzania (+255), but the app supports international numbers.
  2. Enter your phone number and tap Continue.
  3. Check your SMS for a 6-digit verification code and enter it on the next screen.
The verification code expires after 60 seconds. If you don’t receive it in time, tap Resend code once the timer reaches zero.
  1. After your number is verified, you’ll be taken to the profile setup screen.
Before continuing with phone sign-up, check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You can tap either link to read the full documents in-app.

Complete your basic profile

Enter your full name, email address, and a password (minimum 6 characters). These details are used for order confirmations and account recovery.Tap Next to move to role selection.

Choose your role

Select how you want to use Afrizon:
  • Buyer — Shop and purchase products from local vendors.
  • Vendor — Sell your products and manage your own store.
  • Delivery Partner — Accept and complete delivery orders.
  • Affiliate — Earn commissions by referring customers (if available on your marketplace).
Most new users choose Buyer to start. You can create additional role profiles later from the Account screen without signing up again.
If you choose Vendor or Delivery Partner, you’ll be asked to fill in additional business or vehicle details before your account is activated.

Browse products and add to cart

After signing in, you’ll land on the home screen. From here you can:
  • Search for products using the search bar at the top
  • Browse Top Categories or tap All Products to see everything
  • Check out Trending This Week, Featured Products, or Nearby Stores
  • Tap any product to view details, images, variants, and reviews
When you find something you want, tap Add to Cart or Buy Now to go straight to checkout.
Tap the heart icon on any product to save it to your Wishlist for later.

Checkout and place your order

When you’re ready to buy, tap the cart icon and then Proceed to Checkout. Follow these steps:
  1. Select a delivery address — add a new address or choose a saved one.
  2. Choose a delivery type — Standard, Express, or Scheduled delivery.
  3. Select a payment method — Mobile Money, Cash on Delivery, or Bank Transfer. For larger orders, you can choose Pay in Instalments to set up a Winga installment plan.
  4. Review your Order Summary and tap Place Order.
For Mobile Money payments, you’ll receive a USSD prompt on your phone. Enter your PIN to confirm the payment.
Mobile Money payment prompts time out after a short window. Make sure your phone is nearby and ready when you tap Initiate Payment.
Once your order is confirmed, you can track its status from My Orders in the Account tab.
